For a number of years InterimLeder AS has had a tradition of arranging a boat trip for those of our interim managers that are hired out, to get to know each other better and to have fun.
"You are 'our gold'," said CEO Sverre Holen in his welcome speech to the interim managers present, who had all been hired out during the 2012-2013 period. And that set the tone for the rest of the trip.
The 65-foot cruise ship soon ploughed into the Oslo fjord, illuminated by the golden late summer sun. The weather was perfect and thanks to the glass walls we were comfortable until late in the evening.
We passed beautiful gems as we sailed through the fjords past the many islands: Lindøya, Gressholmen, Nakholmen...
Time flew and was filled with laughter and great discussions about previous and current interim management assignments whilst enjoying fresh shrimp, bread, wine and beer.
We would like to thank everyone who joined us on the trip!
MS Kustos is a 65-foot cruise ship built in 1956. Originally used as the bank inspection ship for Statens Bankinspeksjon, it visited banks along the coast from Stavanger to Kirkenes. In 1993 it was converted to a charter boat.
We had a great view of Oslo's new skyline as we left the Oslo fjord.
We exchanged handshakes and experiences.
The shrimp was exquisite and the crew provided a superb service and the atmosphere was wonderful.
